In the first part of our process, we assess and prioritise the individual learning barriers of each individual child using our unique 360 degree assessment.

At Learning DNA, we believe that too many children get misdiagnosed or are pigeon holed under one “label”. Our triage process is the key that uncovers the full cognitive profile of each and every client. We assess their full cognitive profile, not just one aspect of their abilities or difficulties. We know from experience that people hardly ever fit the symptoms of just one “label” such as dyslexia, ADHD and so on. It is always more complicated than that, and therefore to get to the bottom of the young person’s difficulties we carry out our signature 360 degree assessment. We then tackle those in order of priority in order to unlock results for your child as quickly as possible.

After our 360 degree assessment, we want to ensure that you and your child feel informed and empowered during every step of our programme.

Following our 360 degree assessment, we always take the time to explain our findings to you and the reasons behind our proposed plan of intervention. We are straight talking, because you and your child deserve the very best advice and support with proven interventions which are based on concrete results. Your 360 report meeting will be by telephone appointment or face to face, and you can ask any questions you need answering throughout the process.

Following our process and the insights gained from your child's 360 degree assessment, if you wish to access a programme of support, we then tailor a plan for your child to match their unique needs in order of priority.

We know that seeking a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia etc, is a very personal decision; therefore you can opt in or out of a potential diagnostic assessment throughout our programme.

Should you wish to embark on a programme of therapeutic support for your child, our team of experienced SENCos, therapeutic clinicians and tutors will work closely with you and your child to deliver their personalised intervention plan that addresses their unique strengths, challenges, and goals.

We strive to get to the root cause of their difficulties rather than just working around those difficulties; we want your child to overcome them by treating the root cause and this is what sets us and our work apart.

Whether your child needs vision therapy, physical therapies, social skills tutoring, or tailored tutoring support to help them to learn in their own unique way, we're here to support your child every step of the way.

At Learning DNA, we keep you informed at the completion of every phase of your journey with individual progress reports specific to each child. These concise updates track your child's journey from their initial 360 degree assessment, through each step of their therapeutic intervention plan, whilst highlighting their personal milestones, achievements, and areas of growth.

We anticipate that most of our clients will work with us for a minimum of ten weeks of personalised interventions. We review progress at the end of each phase, share the results with you and either suggest a second phase of intervention or opt to complete the programme.

At all stages of our work, our communication is exemplary, and you will have access to your own personal dashboard so you can view the work we have done, what we are focussing on and what the milestones and progress was at each phase.
